Newspapers

Today I fond 20 Minutes and Metro, two of our free circulation newpspaers, at the bus stop at the Place du Mt Boron. That is not always the case, and it would be very nice if we knew when and where the newspapers would likely be there in the future. If Nice Matin only could use vending machines, we could buy that paper there as well.

Police

It seems to me that I am seeing a lot more municipal police cars driving along the Route Forestiere. That's a nice development, as they seem simply to be passing through and not responding to calls.

Water testing

It looked to me as thougth someone had been testing the fire hydrants today on the Avenue des Hesperides. It is always encouraging to see things working as they should!

Crosswalk

Don't we need a crosswalk on the Basse Corniche at the foot of the l'Escalier du Ciel, I think it is called going up from the Basse to the Avenue des Hesperides?

Nice Matin story

Nice Matin ran a full page story about Mont Boron and its plants on 19 Jan 2011 (p.10). Lovely photos to go with the story.

Velos bleus

Will we ever get a bike rack for Velos Bleus on Mt Boron? The closest is at sea level near the Port.

Shopping options

We have so many places where we can walk, bus and, if necessary, drive or train to reach. I will try to create a map illustrating some of these options.
